Woodworking stuff in Manchester

I am coming to Manchester for few days in couple of weeks. Are there any shops selling woodworking tools easily accessed by public transport. Chuck for my lathe is high on the shopping list.

Both excellent Aladdin's caves, within 2 minute walk of each other. Popes in particular carry just about anything you can think of but give them a ring if it's something specific. Don't be fooled by the term 'engineers suppliers'. Oh, and just like a casino set yourself a limit before you go in!!!!

They will be a 2 minute bus ride from Stockport bus or train station. If you give me enough notice I can pick you up from the train/bus station and take you there and back. They are 5 minutes from the town centre (Stockport).
