hi all, i brought myself a new shed just after Christmas and its time to use some form of preservative in it to protect it from the elements should i go for a oil if so what type of oil or should i use or one of the water based preservative from B&Q what would be the best or perhaps something else? >>>>>>>>>>>>>>Roger

My cabin in the garden was painted internally with a clear Cuprinol wood and woodworm preservative the external I used the Cuprinol red cedar shed preservative that was 1997 and its still in good condition, timber was 30mm thick tho.
Coated externally again around 5 years ago.
