I have nearly finished a wall mounted clock on the lathe, now how do I hang it on the wall.
Something like a hole that the screw will slide into and lock or hole.
I am going to make a weather plack next, how do I make the holes to sit the disc in as they will be staggered, hole size is about 2 inches.

Hi Reg - for the clock, you could always use mirror plates.(I've seen people put them over a recess in the back of something,so they are not seen from the front - hanging them on the wall involves a bit of guesswork,though.. )
As for the weather plaque, here's how I made one last year.

Reg, you should be able to get Escutcheon plates in brass, circa 3/4" dia; you may be lucky enough to have an 'old fashioned' hardware shop nearby... otherwise try Isaac lord or similar

ideal for that job
