How on earth do you change the belt in an Axminster M330/ or basically any of the small 'mini' lathes - not change for speed, but replace I should have said !

Got to get jobs out and the Wadkins too big.

Panic's over - obvious really....undo a couple of screws and 'it it with a mallet and hey presto !

Chris.

I am sure someone who has one will be along soon, but on my Perform CCL you have to remove the cover and basically prise the belt off one wheel - kind of gradually feed it over the lip of the fly wheel. I use the handle end of a teaspoon to help get it started. Then rotate the wheels by hand and, if you haven't cut your finger off in the process, voila! Good luck with it.

Chris

I think you have to knock out the top shaft assembly

I have seen it done on a Perform lathe and think its the same thing

Maybe give Axminster a call ? if you are unsure
