Saw this on done deal and had to have it! A biesemyer fence is rock solid and for 150 euro couldn't say no.
Was never happy with the fence on my sip 01332 table saw

Will post pictures as soon as I get it fitted .

Regards Richard

Just took the original fence off and put the new bracket up sods law that no holes match my saw :/ so looks like I will be doing some metal working (hammer) will post photos when I tackle it in Friday.

ok made some progress today:)

IMG_1606.JPG

None of the holes where in the right Location so I had to decide where I needed to cut it.

IMG_1604.JPG

The mitre track dips and the right hand side is flush with my cast iron if I cut off 6 Inched from the left hand side. If i Dint have a slider it would work better as built for an american style saw and for some reason they like to put the fence both sides of the blade.

the square fence has tapped holes i don't fancy having to tap the thin gauged box steel so I will mark where the holes need to be on the angle iron so the box fence can be flush with the left hand side and not get in the way of my sliding carriage

Sorry I don't know how people talk, then put in a picture, talk a bit more then the next picture. So have just put in headings if someone wants to inform me how to improve my whip writing skills please feel free

the fence is rock solid and another hour or 5 should have it fully modified and never coming off again :)

can't see a way of removing the wooden panels on the fence. was going to try replace it with a new one with some t track so I could use a short fence when I need it. any ideas ??

It is quite easy to mix text and images.

***

All you do is type some text then drop down to the next line and add your image.

***

If you put an image in a line by itself then it comes out nicely.

***

Things start getting messy when an image link is added on the same line as text like this ***

Spacing the image link across the page will also affect where the image appears which can look better.

***

*** (Maybe not on an iPad, but the tab key on a pc will)
Putting a a vertical space between image links and text will also result in a space between the images and text on the page.

I hope that's right
Edit . . . I originally used image links but they didn't appear in the post so I've replaced them with ***

 Found the Inline Button. Thanks SWB58

Changed my First post from yesterday to a better order will put up todays progress hopefully with a bit more structure.

Richard

Have a look up inside the bottom of the fence. You might see some nuts that you can access with a spanner to remove the faces

Personally I wouldn't bother. Make a second short fence that sits over your log one and clams in place, then you can use the long fence for sheet worka nd the short one for ripping. Quick and easy.

ok well Finished my fence install today.

Steve no bolts underneath I think they must have laminated over the bolts during manufacture. Will do your Idea of a u shaped fence that will drop ontop for my short fence. Thanks for the advice.

Cut off the same amount on the back rail from the slider side so its exactly flush with my cast iron top

IMG_1636.JPG

I needed to move all the holes for the box iron to attach because in their original position it got in the way of my slider by 2 inches :/ so I used a story stick marked the hole locations and then transferred them onto the angle iron

After having them nicely marked I needed to center punch it and drill them.

IMG_1657.JPG

IMG_1623.JPG

I was then able to bolt on the box iron in the right place to support my fence to do this I put a 18 mm thick piece of timber in the cap and clamped it to the table to keep it consistent

IMG_1659.JPG

I tightened one of them too much and threaded it :/ and i needed to put a new hole in the left hand end. so i tapped to m8.8 holes and they worked a treat.

ok looking for left to right metric or both adhesive tape for my table saw rail. whats the best cheap option preferably metallic.

Regards Richard

Even better someone had got a free sip table saw, but missing the fence so got to sell it for 60 euro more money towards my festool wish list.

Came up on a 4 sale site in Ireland so jumped at it as I used that type of fence in America and knew it was rock solid so unfortunately it was an opertunistic purchase.
