A damp patch in the wood you are cutting = expensive new blade and new saw break unit , they say you can turn the break on and off when cutting damp timber but that means you have to remember to turn it back on again (Does this not negate the whole point of the device?) ,having the thing fitted imho it could lead to people taking unessessary risks and relying on a circuit board (that you may or may not have remembered to switch on) to save your digits should they come into contact with the blade. ever the pessimist i have to ask if this device is as good as they advertise it to be then why doesn't the guy in the video use his finger instead of a sausage ???.
 
ok he has big balls 8-[ but how many people do you know that dip thier hands into a cooler of ice water before using the table saw. [-X :-"
 
and touch it ever so gently just to prove the point - I'd like to see that repeated in 'normal' conditions :shock:
