I am about to buy: Tungsten Carbide Steel Double Cut Rotary Burrs. Have you used them? I need them mainly for brass. I want to buy quality burrs--one's which hopefully will last awhile.

Avoid the cheap ones as sold on ebay / Amazon? Do they last? Or go for a quality reputable make? UK.

Many thanks

If its mainly brass, then I'd look at the Aluma Cut burrs, less likely to clog up on non ferrous metals than the double cut style burrs.

Have a look at this site

Example from Amazon
TJATSE 5Pcs 1/4 Inch Aluma Cut Carbide Burr Set 4.4" Long Shank Single Cut Tungsten Rotary Burr Files CNC Engraving Cut Metal Carving Polishing Drilling Tool Kits https://amzn.eu/d/jeEBptS

I use the moleroda style ones in a dremel all the time and they are very good. I bought mine from a jewellery supplies place probably ten years ago, never had to replace one and still sharp.
