heres the difference between the finish that can be achieved.
This is an off cut from a project,
first pic is of the side that was cut by the saw already in the bandsaw. Not brand new admittedly, but only light useage on good materials. The pieces were cut seperately before being glued together, but you can clearly see the cut roughness.
Now heres the inner side of that same piece, cut with the tuffsaws blade. This time a curved surface.
I have not made any alteration to either side, this is how it came away from the blades.
its at least as good as 220 grit finish.
2 questions,
1/ how does he do it?
2/ why cant any other company do it?
