TS200 rise and fall

Hi has anyone replaced the threaded bar and arbor on this saw axminster are sending replacement parts. Thanks for any info Monty

If it is like the kity it probably isn't difficult but is likely to be fiddly and time consuming. My kity was a cabinet model but too me an evening to strip down and about 3/4 of an evening to reassemble. Hopefully the ts200 will be easier. The most useful tool I used was a ratchet spanner set.

What is wrong with it? Is it under guarantee?

yes still under guarantee but axminster say could take 3 wk from sending to return to me but will talk m through it by phone the thread has worn on the arbor so wont rise all way up
