The white piece is a section of half of a vase turned from a piece of Camphor from the Laurel family the rest of the vase can be seen in the 4 th picture. The red onion is Red Ivory and the black piece is African Black Wood. Please feel free to suggest a name. Finish is shellac mixed with a white powder same as used to colour resin for the white piece and the other two pieces blond shellac.
H 260mm 10 ¼” W 108mm 4 ¼’ C & C as always welcome. Regards Roger

Roger, I really like it - it is almost alive, (unlike the poor vase from which it was born!!)

PS Hope you are well. Your beautiful lidded form with optional finials is still in pride of place in our living room.
