i find if i put up a piece of work for sale like this one,unless people do craftwork,or scrolling,they will not understand the amount of work that goes into the piece,people only see it as a piece of wood,where scrollers understand the time that was spent creating it,.........my opinion anyway

I think that is true. It is not so much the subject matter that holds the price back, just peoples perception of worth.
Though it may have reached a better price in a church sale ?
