I seldom start threads on this forum, but a truly exceptional achievement deserves a mention.A couple of days ago,Alex Zanardi added another paralympic gold medal to the two he won in London in 2012 for hand bicycle.Alex is a very successful racing driver who became eligible for the Paralympics as a result of losing both legs in a huge accident in 2001.To pick up another gold in a demanding discipline at 49 years old is quite something.I hope you will find it worthy of note.

Wow I didn't know he had lost his legs - I remember watching him racing the indy cart series. Winning gold at 49 is no doubt a great acheivement considering there were probably many competitors half his age.

Excellent achievement - though I was a little disturbed by Lewis Hamilton's comment - "one day I wish to be just like you"!
