This is pretty well brand new in original box, and I don't think it's ever been used. It's sharp, seems square, and works well.
However, it has some point been a little damp and contact with the box has left slight staining - not pitting - on the sole. Nothing that a little use won't get rid of. The varnish has fallen off the front knob, but is intact on the rear handle.
The odd thing about the plane - which would help to date it, but which also makes it awkward to price, is that the adjustment wheel and screw heads for securing the handles are aluminium.
The box itself is complete but oil-stained.
