Douglas is no armchair expert or even your average woodworker, if I had the money I'd be ordering one of his very impressive leg / carvers vice hybrids.

I got to see this plane before it was posted off and I can confirm it was absolutely stunning both in its construction and more importantly it's performance. Douglas is a very lucky boy :D

Dead right Richard, it's a beauty to behold but even better to use. Very pleased with my choose there.
May I mention I did actually pay the asking for that plane, the fact Oliver has been testing the vice is a completely separate issue and will stay that way... I feel another Sparks coming on, damn.

p.s. another thing Richard... so my No70 was really second-hand.
