Not ventured much into turning until recently, fact is I'm still a novice and learning as I go on.

cheers, the bowl was meant to be chunky. I know most turners would of made the sides thinner but I actually wanted it chunky.

Nothing wrong with the bowl either.
Doesn't matter what other turners would do, only you know what design you were aiming for and we shouldn't always do the same as everyone else, things would get quite boring then.

Well done Lee nothing wrong with any of them it is your hobby and you make what is pleasing to you and each of your items are well turned and finished keep em coming mate

Shape, form, design, are your choice; any of which may or may-not be the choice of others, that's their prerogative.
What is important is the presentation and finish of the piece which looks good on all of the above, having achieved the best finish you can with no sign of tooling or holding/machining marks means that any critique has no option but to award full marks for the finish.
