Small CNC router machine help

HI, new member and looking for some help please. I am looking for a machine to router/cut/burn out things on timber. Letter, numbers words etc.. nothing amazing and hopefully hook it up to a computer. Does anyone have any experiences i this field? We would like to router clients names etc.. along the side of a drawer in our kitchen manufacture.

Any help appreciated.

Consider a laser, it's not thesame thing but its versatility is where the value lies and you can whore it out for other people's designs in veneers etc...

Its only for solid timber like pitch pine and oak. Any ideas what I should be looking for? Any help appreciated.
