Sip 1930 10" table saw

Hi guys

Im looking to buy a used table saw - for furniture.
Is this saw any good? Does any body have experience of this in terms of accuracy?

Bear in mind that machines of that type are horribly noisy.
If that's a consideration for you you'll want to look for a saw with an induction motor instead.

I have had two of those the first one was rubbish and lasted just over a year, the second one the motor with blade fell out when i switched it on.

Thanks pcb1962. I used to have a woodstar st12. Beautiful induction motor, quiet, but too big and inaccurate for what i want to make..

Have you considered the axminster TS200 / 250?

Or if it is just solid timber you will be using? A bandsaw?

The TS 250 does tempt me. I think I will need to save up a little and get that new unless I'm fortunate enough to find one second hand...
