Natural edged "vessel" for want of a better word, from semi wet / semi dry (take your pick) log of silver birch.

No finish on it. Wish I had left it (or just waxed it) as I put Danish oil on it , which darkened it more than I would have liked, but hey ho!

That is one beautiful piece what elegance I love It its a masterpiece thanks for showing I got a whole tree full of burrs before xmas not been able to turn it yet I have had some health problems but will be at the lathe soonest I hope mine turns out as good a effort as the one am proudly looking at now
