Ring bowls

Had some small pieces of wood rather than throw them out made three ring dishes two are Oak and the third from a crouch of a piece from a hedge that was ripped out

A good collection to have dotted about as casual retainers.

Something else that I do with even smaller pieces is make what I call Pill Platters, simple small saucers/bowls about 50mm max. diameter.

Very useful for the older generation to place the 'with food' collection of pills in at the meal table, saves hunting for those that have rolled away and easier to check whether they have been taken.

Today I have been given some sapele from the fire stations around here a friend is replacing all the hose towers with new cills where they rest the ladders and when there is 12" or more left over from a new piece he saves them and end up in my pile. So now will have to find more small things to make

That looks like the size of the potassium tablet they gave me while I was having my triple by-pass nearly chocked on the bl---y thing and I thought they where trying to save me :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Yes, the boss takes one every day. (dissolved in a glass of water, calcium)
Often causes a double take when eating out and making a request for a glass of plain un-iced water to take with medication. :shock:
