This came my way. The only thing that moved was the sliding handle.

The red paint was so thick it had jammed all the parts.

The dirt was even painted over.
Last year it was on sale for £98. Last week mine for £10.

Modern paint remover made a dent.
But in the end it was boiled up in caustic soda.

A bit of bling. The jaws were in good condition, a bonus.

Due to the paint I used a die nut to clean the threads and a tap for the nuts.
