Good to see - it's been planted only six weeks. It's already attracted the ground bees so I'll have to pick any apples off this year. It's a Dr. Harvey, a dual purpose cooker.

(I have no idea why these are on their side - they've been rotated on the computer)

My efforts .......... apologies to the lawn police, I have a broad leaf weed killer on it and it can't be mowed for a week.

A little horse chestnut, found growing under the whopper horse chesnut.

What do you mean by ground bees, and why pick off the apples? Our apple trees are humming with bees. Cheers, W2S

What a transformation Dr B

Our Apple blossom got “disappeared” by the bad weather - no apples this year :(
Anybody seen any summer visitors yet - Swallows, House Martins etc?

Rod

Swallows over the lakes on Thursday while fishing, North of Alnwick Northumberland, a couple around our house today so they are the marathon leaders.

Great transformation btw Bob. =D>

Ground bees as opposed to honey bees. I'll take them off this year - it's a bare root tree that's only been planted for weeks so I don't want to weaken it by leaving fruit on it.
