gave my niece and nephew a go at woodturning a little while ago. they loved it . he is 7 and she is 10 .

My son is 16,let him have a go on the lathe last year,and he thoroughly enjoyed it.
Partly because it seems that anything remotely interesting is not allowed at school,just incase someone hurts themselves :x

I hope you can manage to keep them interested.
