New PayPal mobile phishing text

Well, new to me.

The other morning I got a text allegedly from PayPal saying that 'You've just sent a payment to [email protected] transaction ID etc etc and paid with your PayPal. To cancel the payment click here http://paypsecureco.uk'

Enough mistakes not to fall for it but if those mistakes weren't there ......

The idiots didn't set-up the URL properly either as it fails DNS lookup.

if you get these then you can forward it to [email protected] and they will investigate. I've sent about 6 over the last few months

I can't forward an SMS via email. At least not on my phone !

if you have an Android phonethe, ope txt and in the history window just press on the message and hold your finger there, you will then get the option to forward it and can then put in an email address as the recipient. hth
