Has any one made a native American flute

My wife bought me a course - 1 day - with Nightstar flutes - actually a bloke who makes them in his shed. It was actually a great day spent making a flute - although he couldn't let me do the routing of the inside..... he was very good at it and I came away with a great - tuned - flute. I'd recommend them.

Nope but I'm sure there is a Yahoo group for flute making of all types. In the distant past I think I was a member of it.
Mimf.com has a section devoted to wind instruments.
