Hi guys, I got into woodworking a few years ago and created a nice workshop at the previous house. Then just over a year ago were forced to downsize and I ended up putting all my stuff in storage. The house and garden we have now needles to say, are much smaller, but even so my lovely wife has allowed me to put up a workshop. It's been 12 months in arriving (funds) but it's up now. I've tagged a couple of pictures on the end of the workshop shell. 16ft x 14ft. I will be posting more as it progresses.
The creations below are what I managed to do before in the old shop. They are pretty basic but I enjoyed making them. The child's easel and foot stool have already lived a life as window frames.

My first attempt at turning since school (a looooong time ago). A trinket bowl made from Padauk. Gorgeous wood with a golden pearlescent glow to it.

This stool I made with my son in a day, it's a replica of one I made at school. Again made from old window frames.

My second attempt at turning, a little more adventurous. This was a wedding present for my brother. The top was cut with a router. I think the feet are a little heavy.

A canopy created from scratch.

And finally the new workshop as it looked on January 1st.

Once it's set up I have plans to get much more adventurous, I have a floor down now and have shipped in a lot of gear. I should have it done by summer.

Thanks for looking

Lovely work, I agree with you about the legs on the table. The turning bit is nice.
