Just thought I'd make a little something for the Missus to make her feel special on Mum's day. C&C always welcome. I know the beads are a bit thick for the proportions :)

A very pleasing shape altogether and as for the beads they look just about right in this context, if you had made a stem to the goblet with that size bead I would agree they look big.
It looks like you have the same problem as me getting the true colour of the wood to show

Its the flash that buggers things up! The 2 relatively natural ones have no flash and the one that looks shaded on one side had the flash fire. To do it properly I'd have to get the tripod out and have a long exposure but I did this fast this morning while planning (& making) lunch for the Missus and Mother in law (all Mums together) and I just didn't have time so it was snap rather than a proper photo.

Just cleared the dishes away in fact....nice coffee now I reckon.....
