Hello all,
Does anyone in the Gloucestershire area (more specifically Cirencester or hereabouts) have a moisture meter I could use to check a couple of pieces of Green Oak I steam bent some time ago and need to machine down to their final shape as soon as I can?
I have been keeping tabs on how much weight they lose each day but I'm clueless as to where in the drying process I stand.
These things are holding up progress on an commission which is very important for me and money is too tight at the moment for me to invest in a meter I would trust.
I hope someone could help (money is not so tight that beer could not change hands in return!).
