Moisture Meter Recommendation ? anyone have one which is not too expensive that works? Just bought some air dried Wych Elm and want to know how wet it is. Planks cut from a dead tree, looked very like kiln dried I've bought in the past, waney both edges, got about 8 cube for £95 :D Lots of real cheap ones on Ebay but no use if not accurate..

Thanks for any replies

I've got a tramex professional that I've had for 10yrs give or take, gives very accurate MC readings along with RH and I use it regularly to monitor the goings on in my kiln. I've also got a handy little one from Stihl that I use when cutting planks in the field. It works a treat and is very handy with a tiny footprint.
