I just found these old Laptop USB lights lying around..wonder if I can put them to good use around the saw in some shape or fashion...lol
Throw nowt away me .....hahahaha...Garage is full of junk

i use something similar on a 1 cell powerbank, it's completely portable for swapping between scrollsaw, bandsaw and work bench. I glued a magnet to the powerbank so it sticks to the tool. lasts about 6 hours between charges (although I've not tested it completely). think I paid 2 quid for the powerbank, had a look inside it and was happy with the design.

or a phone charger with a usb extension lead if you want it mains powered. :)
 
I tried one as close lighting on my little bench mill. I got it a bit too close one day. It is no more.

Hahahah, I was just looking at the pic and wondering why they were both lit when one was switched off. Duh!
