Kreg Screws for 25mm (1") Poplar

Hi All,

Kreg recommends the "Hi Lo" thread for Poplar; however, I'm struggling to get them in 1.5" length. Anyone any experience of using the coarse or fine threads in Poplar? Which is best?

As Poplar is not that hard I would have thought teh coarse are better, I only use the fine on things like oak, beech and maple.

Handy tools have them in that length

Thanks, Jason. I went for the coarse in the end. I think I must have used coarse in a previous project with Poplar face frames.
