Kity 637 Planer/Thicknesser
Has anyone got one? Is it any good?
If buying second hand is there anything specific I should be looking for?

I have the model down from that (439) and find it absolutely brilliant, I don't know if I managed to get a particularly good one second hand, but the beds where flat and true, the fence had been modified to have a flat plywood face and it is able to be adjusted to a perfect right angle, the only thing negative is that the metal rollers get gummed up if thickening resinous timber, I cut a lot of Oak on it and keep the blades sharp with a diamond hone, other than the things I have mentioned just make sure it all works.
