May be of interest to anyone with Katsu and plunge base. The plunge base fits Makita 194579-2 Guide rail adaptor, which fits Makita, Triton & Festool tracks, not sure about other makes.

How much is that guide rail? I made my own adaptor as it seemed quite straight forward but I am sucker for tools.

ebay, Power Tool Centre £34.89 delivered. Comes with two pairs (different diameters) of router mounting rails, with two spacings.

I have the Makita track along with the Makita (and clone) trim routers. The plunge base is a standard fitting for a number of small routers, including my Elu 97 and 98. The Makita has really poor dust control. The Elu (Dewalt 621) is superb.

The weakness of the Makita router guide is an absence of fine adjustment. Any fixes?
