My jet air filter broke a while ago, i think i also shorted the circuit when fixing it up that time.

I managed to get it going again, new fuse I think it was that i replaced, but it would only run on one setting, using the remote control.

Now it only turns on and either just hums or turns extremely slowly on one setting. It seems to kick in fast for a brief moment when initially turned on then goes to the very low power.

I can't find where id get a replacement part but id be happy to just run it on full power. Anyone know if i could bypass the circuit to power it?

Thanks. I did come across that but having almost no knowledge of electronics thought it might not be worth the time perusing. However i've looked up that part and you can get it for about £6. Suppose it might be worth a go, can't be that hard to replace, I imagine you just need to do a little soldering.
