Does anybody have the Jessem Mite R Excel mitre fence available from Rutlands? How does it compare to the Incra fences for accuracy, ease of use and robustness etc? I'm looking for a replacement mitre fence for a SIP 10" table saw.

Hi Hamac, welcome to the forum.

I do not know to much about the Jessem, but i m sure someone will be along to help you very soon.

Cheers

Mike

I would be interested too as the standard sip one is a bit sloppy, although the rest of the table is great.

Get confused at the different incra etc offerings and the hugely different price ranges, so any advice welcome !

Cheers, Paul :D

Not sure about the JessEm but I replaced my SIP mitre gauge with the incra 1000SE. It is absolutely flawless. It is cheaper than the JessEm too.
Once I set it up accurately I cut an octagonal frame to test it. It was perfect.

It also has a vernier cursor which allows accuracy to within 1/10 of a degree.

Go for the incra mate!

I bought the fence a few weeks ago. It's a superb piece of kit very easy to set up and extremely accurate - well worth the money.
