I've got a board jammed in my thicknesses and can't get the bugger out, when it's happened before I've given it a whack to push it back a bit and then been able to lower the table, but nothing's moving :-( Help! It's a scheppach hms260

it sounds like you`ve tried to take too much off and you`ve got the roller and or the kick back teeth jammed I`d take the top off and have a good look . stripping it down may be your best option before you knacker it. I wont remind you to unplug it first. granny and eggs and sucking etc.. HTH
all the best

Don't know if it's this model in particular or thicknessers in general but when I try to take to much and it gets jammed, you can't lower the table as the force of the board pushing down on it means it won't move. Managed to free it up eventually, had to take up the kick back teeth do that I could force the wood back a bit to relieve the pressure on the table. Managed to break my dads old hammer in the process which is probably older than me.:-(

I suppose there are one or two crimes worse than taking a hammer to a machine but not many.
Hopefully you stopped when you broke the hammer !

............
... not taking a big enough one :)

Ha, I was hitting the piece of wood to be fair, although I did feel like giving the machine a hiding after about an hour
