Improving Danish Oil Stain Resistance

I have an oak coffee table finished with danish oil.
In spite of my pleas to always use coasters, somehow a damp glass was left on it, leaving a ring stain.
I have removed the stain by sanding and have re oiled it.
Can anyone recommend a finish that I can apply over the existing danish oil that will improve its water/stain resistance?

Hi,

My dining table has had about 8 coats of danish oil and the resists water very well. So slap a few more coars on.

It all depends on whose brand you are using, they all differ massively.
