This is the details that I experienced buying the Osborne EB3 from the US.
Costs
Osborne EB3 mitre gauge $109
Postage by USPS $53
Import duty £13
Parcel force handling fee £8
Delivery 10 days to UK but you then have to wait for a letter from parcel force with the bill for import and handling.
I followed the parcel by using the USPS tracking number, but it was not much use once the parcel went into customs.
BUT if you type the same number into the parcel force tracking site, it obtains a new number and tells you where the parcel is. In my case it was being held in Newport my local depot. I rang parcel force about the delay and their reply was they had written to me stating the outstanding amount to be paid. In the end I went and got the parcel myself.
