I don't need to follow suit, as I already have a plane like that - but I can confirm that it's a lovely one to use.

So if anyone has some broken bits of plane, wondering what to do with them, go for it!

It's not me but I have a Marples No. 4 with a chunk out of the side casting. I now know what I'm going to do with it.

We do get the occasional shower. On Tuesday of this week I was in work in Cardiff, about 15 miles as the crow flies, from home. It had been a nice dry day with sunny spells. When I got home it was raining and had been for 4 hours.

Ha! It was peeing down the other day and my allotment was bone dry - 200yds away. Cornwall you see. You get the rain when we've done with it.
