I am currently using Outlook Express for email and running it with Wanadoo. Every time I turm the computer off my POP setting defalts to a series of numbers. So that each time I log on I get an error and the computer asks for a login and password. Each time I reset it by changing the setting to pop.wanadoo.co.uk I am able to receive and send mail until I turn off the computer. Can anyone please assist with this?

Thanks

Geordie

Geordie,

I can't understand why anything should change your settings and certainly not your ISP unless it is a special edition of OE. Possibly you have a Trojan and it is worth checking for this with a reputable program like WebRoot Spysweeper or TrojanHunter. I also suggest you try Thunderbird, it is a better mail client than OE IMHO. It will import settings and mailboxes from OE if you wish.
