A quiet evening in the workshop so I put together a grinder jig for sharpening lathe

Made to fit on a slide out table built into

Just needs a carriage to hold planer blades.

Looks a very neat design, may have to have a go at borrowing that. Digging around at the very back of the shed last week I found an old grinder that must of been amongst the things cleared out of my day's place, must have been there at least 10 years but plugged it in and started up fine but wondered how I could put it to use and hey presto your post pops up :lol:

You're welcome to borrow the idea, I borrowed it anyway from a picture I found online.

Only thing I'm considering changing is a way of removing the bars when gouges need sharpening, rather than having to un bolt the grinder itself.
