Gmail users. Accessing other POP3 accounts

I have been playing with gmail all morning (thanks Chris) and am mightily impressed so far. But I am a little disappointed that you do not seem to be able to access other POP3 accounts from gmail. I did this with yahoo some time back and it is a useful way of consolidating and replacing old email addresses.

Am I missing something or is it not possible?

At present,as far as I know, POP only works one way - that is you can access Gmail from a POP account (instructions in HELP). Google are still developing the thing and I think it is quite likely they will add such functionality before long.

Have a look in their "features we are getting around to adding" and if it isn't there - ask them to implement it!
