Went to the G&S Specialist Timbers show at Penrith today.
Have only seen it advertised in Woodturning magazine,so a bit like the Axminster event,perhaps not overly-announced.
However,compared to Aldels report on the Axminster one,it was very well attended (especially for such a small site)
Stands and demo's from Jet,Chestnut,Bessey,Fein,BriMarc,Festool,Crown;pyrography demonstration, and Tracy Owen showing some of his woodturning skills.
And every two hours,a chance to see the huge Stenner sawmill changing trees into planks
(T'was a bit on the nippy side,though..)
It's on tomorrow as well,if anyone lives near enough.
