Our local council has decided to close the Durham Light Infantry museum. It houses thousands of medals some of them from VC awards. The grounds have the ashes of ex servicemen scattered amongst them. The council plan to put the artifacts into storage in an old cigarette factory. There is a campaign to try and stop this.
