Foldable table legs & hinges

Hi I'm looking at building a number of work tables for a cookery school. The workstations will have a wooden block top and be approximately 1200mm by 1200mm. I also want to be able to fold them away so the legs need to be collapsible and fold underneath. Has anybody any suggestions on hinges or locking mechanisms for the legs. I'm struggling so any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

How about foldable leg fittings

You would have to stagger the legs so that they don't hit when closed as they are likely to be longer than half the table width. I would also make the legs as two sets of "H" pattern with stretchers at the bottom.
