Bit of a long time lurker, so first off, Hello from Wales!

I will be building a 8 x 15 ft shed (to be used as a workshop), in the coming months. I will be working towards the 2.5m height limit.

Seeking some advice on the build and would like to run some questions past you guys.

To give an idea, my current spec from the ground up is pretty basic, and along the lines of;

6 x 2 Treated Floor Joists
18mm Plywood Floor
3x2 CLS Framework
Treated Shiplap Cladding 19 x 125
4x2 Rafters (Pent Style Roof)
18mm OSB Roof Panels
Felt Roof

So, question time...

1. Treated or Non-Treated Framework?

2. Concrete Blocks x9 resting on ~2” of Gravel (around each block) suitable as a Base?

3. Worth/Possible to treat the underside of the Plywood Floor?

4. Lowest possible pitch for a Felt roof. Recommend any alternatives?

5. I'm contemplating using Featheredge instead of Shiplap (to offset the cost), and then wrapping each side panel & the roof in breathable roofing membrane? As then the option for insulating at a later date would be there. Thoughts?

As with most builds, the cheaper the better. But I would really like this to be comfortable to work in and last a good few years. So if it's wiser to spend a little more here and there, I'd opt to do that.

Thanks for any help!!
