I am new here and have joined as I want to buy a cutting machine as a present. I know nothing about them, hence the reason why I am here. However, having read a few posts and looking for a hobby myself, I may be interested in buying another for myself. I thought (ChippyGeoff's) post was really interesting and informative, therefore may I ask for your help.
Which would be the best small domestic compact machine to buy. My friend would like to cut shapes approx 4 x 4 inches (according to the shape she is cutting) as you do for her daughters wedding, but I am sure she will use it for other purposes too, she would like to make large puzzles as well. (Is there a computerised version available at a reasonable price as she is good with the computer) I guess my price range for one machine would be under £300. I look forward to your response.
