Hi

I bought this festool jig with a voucher I had. Apart from the obvious what else does it do. There are three parts which I can't figure out what to do with. The instructions and guide are dreadful.

Picture attached, can you help me identify what they are for ?

Curious thing to buy on a whim, however never fear, help is at hand...

Jerry Work does loads of guides for all the odder bits of Festool gear and here is his take on the MFS. Suffice to say he comes up with all manner of interesting uses...

Top two angles are used to locate the MFS against a workpiece edge, the black spacer is used as a third leg for your router when using a guide ring against the profiles and the bottom piece is for you to locate the router with a 30mm guide bush to the edge of the profile when using the MFS to route circles or arcs as a trammel.
