Does anyone know why the Record dx1000 is £60 cheaper yet they seem to have the same specs. Furthermore, the dx1000's motor is rated at 1250W instead of the rsde1's 1100w, and it comes with a hose which is 0.5m longer... What am I missing? Would you say these things are robust - this is for a shared workshop so I want it to be really easy to use (otherwise it won't get used when it should) and hard to break...
