Expansive wood drill bit

Can any members recommend a decent expansive wood drill bit?
I need to bore a 60mm blind hole to a depth of around 18-20mm in softwood and hardwoods.
The type I am looking for will be similar to this one:

Im not interested in the screwfix one because of poor reviews, but if anyone can point me in the direction of a half decent one it would be appreciated.

Why not get a cheap hole saw, make a mdf template and use a router for the holes?

Strangely I was looking at my Ridgeway version of just that expansive bit only the other day. The instructions state, quite explicitly, that it is not to be used on hardwoods.
I think I would be inclined to go with one of carlb40's suggestions. Using a router will likely give you a better finish to the inside of the hole.

They are very hard work to use, very hard to set to a dead size and will not give a flat bottomed hole, very difficult to drill a through hole and last of all 60mm dia will take all three Wheat-a-bix.
Router it if you can.

You will never get a nice hole with a flat bit of 60mm dia you need a forstner bit.

Yeah my plan B was to make a jig and use the router with a guide bush.
But I was just looking for the easy option. #-o

Famag forstner bit, I have an expansive bit but not that easy and wouldn't give the same result.
