Drilling shelf support holes

Good day

Some time ago I posted the drill stand (not drill press) improvement (big dill, just added base plate).
Just not to send you "here", I'm adding the picture.

I would like to share with you, how I'm drilling shelf support holes with that drill stand.

I know that there are a few methods, but, I already have the tool so I'm using it also for that purpose.

After sneaking to your web site, it looks to me like you shall not need them.
Beautiful works, I liked very much the chair and the "scientific" test of the glue line.
I'm using the Soudal 66A, never failed for me.

Sorry to be negative but those holes look terrible, all chipped out.
Why don't you make a jig out of mdf with 12mm holes for a router bush guide and route them out, not a chip to be seen doing it this way.

You are not negative, you are just saying the truth.
Sorry, I used incorrect drill for the melamine.
Maybe I would use the router but, for the one or two times a year that I'm using it...
I do promise to use better drill next time (at least for the pictures).

Looking at the drill stand, does it have a 43mm diameter clamp? If so, small routers like the trend t3 could also be mounted in there.....

Yes, it's 43 mm with bushing to 42 mm.
I'm looking for such a router for long time, I even thought to convert one of the trimmers but the trimmer base is too large.
